Subtitle Track is not visible

I have an MP4 that has a subtitle track available when playing, yet it is not visible when viewed in MKVToolNix. It’s a little over 3gig so I can’t upload it. Any reason this behavior might occur?

is there a way to make it available to you? It’s about 3.5 gig. Thx.

Apologies. I figured it out. Although it lists a subtitle track when running it in VLC, the track is blank. Sorry about that……
