Split files run times are much longer than original file run time

Hi,

New user here, just came over from Reddit. I’ve been using MKVToolNix for many years, mostly for splitting large mkv files into 23G files that will burn on a blank Blu-Ray disk.

So far, all the time lengths of the split parts for the larger file have been adding up to the total of the original file.
But today, when spliting a 3:48:18 long file into 23G parts, it did split into 2 23G files, and a 7GB file. BUT…the times of the 3 split files are 1:39:04, 3:17:33, and 2:16:12, as displayed in the ‘Length’ colume in Windows, AND when I play the file.

In all my other splits, the split file times always add up to the length of the original file.

Anyone know what’s going on?
