Since about the July 15 TV firmware update, all the files with a .mkv extension have become invisible to the TV, not just in the VLC app, but in a file manager app as well, when reading from a SSD. Those same files can be played on all my other devices (from the SSD), and also they can be played from a USB flash drive, plugged into the same USB port as was the SSD.
Some workarounds include: converting the .mkv files to MP4, using the USB flash drive, streaming from a computer, or waiting for an update to fix it.
Am I the only one who has seen many files seem to disappear from my SSD connected to my TV?
