Removing audio track

Hello,

So I have a simple problem but a bunch of different potential sources for errors, so I’ll just give a long description.

I downloaded Paprika and played it on my TV (a Roku TLC) via a thumb drive. However, it played the English audio track and not the Japanese one. I downloaded MKVToolNix onto my Intel Macbook, and it seemed to work just fine (I’ll be honest I didn’t read through the long read me part so that’s probably the main issue). I put Paprika into it, saw there were two AAC files, and unchecked the English version, and started the multiplex. When I go on VLC, it worked totally fine, there was only a Japanese version now. However, when I went back to my TV, now there is no audio for the movie. What went wrong? I’ve included some screenshots to show what I did as well.

EDIT: Actually I just saw that the Japanese audio track is 8-Channel and the English is 6-Channel, would that make a difference?

EDIT2: Okay, I wanted to test this out with another file. I have the movie Red Beard downloaded and when I play it on my Roku it plays the english commentary over it. I went through the program and unchecked the “english commentary”, started the multiplex, and once again no audio comes out when I play it on the TV, even though the VLC player on my laptop works just fine.
