MP4Splitter crashes!

Using MP4Splitter for the first time gave me several issues.

  1. There is no audio available so it’s a problem knowing where to split the video I am working with.
  2. CRASHES: The frequent crashes usually occur when I have moved the slider maybe backwards and forwards too quickly? I lose all the splits I have made and have to start again.
    I am running it on an iMac OSX Sequoia 15.4.1
    MKV Tools 3.8.
    Anyone had similar issues?

Neither MP4Splitter nor “MKV Tools 3.8” has anything to do with my project, MKVToolNix. Please ask somewhere else.
