@mbunkus I’ve just tested for this & curiously this bug is still present in the Header Editor as 48kHz, the additional commit a5b3cc7da Matroska reader: DTS: set sampling frequency from bitstream (a5b3cc7d) · Commits · Moritz Bunkus / MKVToolNix · GitLab still reports DTS-HD HRA 96kHz tracks as 48kHz in the Header Editor, it’s a welcome improvement but not fixed entirely unfortunately
Here are those samples that were obtained from this Official Kodi Wiki page here under the “HD/object-based Audio Test Clips” section, https://kodi.wiki/view/Samples
DTS-HD HRA 5.1 96kHz Sample: DTS-HRA5.1_VC1-23.976.mkv - Google Drive
DTS-HD HRA 7.1 96kHz Sample: 23.58 MB file on MEGA
There seems to be a discrepancy with the DTS-HD HRA 7.1 96kHz sample being erroneously reported in the Header Editor as 6 Channels (5.1) when it ought to be 8 Channels (7.1) as identified correctly in the Multiplexer as you can see below.
