Enabling Items - Subtitles
Box- Only enable copying of tracks with specific languages by default is ENABLED
Then Selected list on the right have a few languages.
Result: All Subtitles are turned off
I tried versions 92, 82, 72, 62.
Windows 10, 11 and Linux.
Program was freshly installed with all default values.
Please help.

This setting only affects how the controls are set when you add files to the multiplex settings. Meaning the subtitle tracks will only be enabled if their language as detected right when adding it to the mux settings matches one of the languages in the list in the preferences. Changing the track’s language manually later has nothing to do with this setting.
You can post screenshots of the preferences page & the track list pane right after adding the track before making any changes if you still don’t understand what happens, and maybe we can see what’s up.

I solved the problem… which was on my side.
Enabling Items by default keep all categories in Selected box.
What I was doing was - I moved Subtitles from Selected to Available.
Result… all subtitles were disabled by default.
So later I moved everything from Selected to Available. Then moved to Selected:
Audio
Chapters
Subtitles
Video
Now it is working perfect after I also selected languages which I want to keep.
Enabling items is great option to have… wish I discovered it earlier.
I can remove unwanted subtitles, tags, global tags quickly.
