Close modified settings window appears when closing the app

I’ve just completed a Windows reinstall, and reinstalled MKVToolNix. Now each time when I want to close the app after I’ve added a file, I get a Close modified settings dialog (see attached picture).

I’ve been through all the settings, and can’t see a way to prevent that from appearing. It didn’t appear before I reinstalled Windows. So how can I stop it from appearing and just close?

The option is there in the preferences: “GUI” → “Warnings” → “Warn before closing modified tabs”
