Need help with subtitles appareance

Hello I have a weird request, I watch all the movies in original language so I pay a lot of attention to the style and appearance of the subtitles, watching a movie I saw a style of subtitles in PGS that I really loved, and I would like to set it as default on my video player (potplayer) so that it appears the same with all the movies. I tried messing around with the font and border size and stuff but i couldn’t really get the same result. I attach a photo as a sample of how this looks. I would like to have the same exact result and set it as default, if on potplayer it is not possible to do I can also use mpv player. Thanks in advance for your time.

PGS subtitles are encoded images, so there is no way to change the font style/appearance. I’d suggest you try out the text-based ASS subtitle format that allows you change the font style to your liking. Your media player has to support it too. Subtitle One can convert PGS to ASS directly, though it won’t keep the positional info from the PGS. Or, you can convert to plain SRT and override the style if your media player allows it.
